Free Zone
ACARPORT S.A, manages in NAVIPE Platygiali Astakos, the only Free Trade and Industrial Zone in Greece.
The industrial plots, which are available to interested investors, are located within the Free Zone offering businesses significant comparative advantages, i.e. those of an Industrial Zone and a Free Zone.
The receipt by ship of raw materials and components for the production of finished products does not require any customs procedure, as long as they are exported to third countries (outside the EU).

AKARPORT S.A
ACARPORT S.A, was founded in 2000 and is the company that manages and administers the port of NAVIPE Platygiali of Astakos. The strategic position of the port, located in the middle of Western Greece and a short distance from the Suez-Gibraltar axis, makes it an important node in the logistics hub of cargo flows between the countries of the European Union and the East, while at the same time it is also a link between the countries of the Adriatic, the Balkans and the Black Sea.
