AKARPORT S.A also provides Maritime Agency services to ships and cargoes that approach the port of NAVIPE Platygiali of Astakos.

- Reservation of position and time of arrival and departure of a ship at the port
- Management of tugs and navigational services
- Pre-arrival processing and cooperation with consignee/consignor of cargo
- Preparation and filing of the relevant documents for the free society of the ship
- Cargo declaration to the customs authorities
- Supervision of ship loading / unloading with containers, bulk and liquid cargoes.
- Issuance of shipping documents
- Provision of auxiliary services on board
- Crew change services – document filing and process completion with foreigner service as well
repatriation of seafarers.
